Smash Ultimate Patch 9.0 Released Early

Hey everyone! Smash Ultimate patch 9.0 dropped today, so here’s a look at some of the preliminary patch notes. As of the time I am writing this, full fighter change patch notes have not been released by Nintendo, but I’ll add more to this article (or put up a new one) once they have been. Notably, Nintendo has made alterations to the way Global Smash Power is calculated online. Remember that your game my not update automatically. If it doesn’t say 9.0 in the top right of your starting screen when you load the game, exit out and press the + button on your controller when you have Smash Ultimate highlighted. It will then give you the option to check for updates. Click on that and monitor the progress of the download and installation bars.
